"When I look at Karrens work I can see her personality shining through in every piece, whether it be a portrait or a fantasy piece or a painting of an animal. She brings her passion to everything and puts her own unique stamp on her work. In her portraits you can almost hear the persons thoughts.
She captures the emotion of the moment so that the person seems alive and breathes out through the canvas. You can almost imagine them turning to look at you to carry on a conversation. Her work evokes an immediate response and engages the onlooker. The portraits are narrative and warm and of real people you feel would be interesting to meet".
